Guy cards - they are difficult. And do guys really care if they get a card? Hmmmmm... I suppose some do. I found this paper in my stash and I thought of my daddy. He's been gone from this life for many years and I still miss him very much. He worked on engineering blue prints many evenings at home. I loved to go to his office and I can still remember the smell. It was a pleasant combination of pencil shavings and pipe tobacco. I wish I could find a candle with that combination! Great memories...
I went to the doctor today and he gave me a narcotic pain medication for my current back pain. This card was made while 'under the influence'.

This is simply wonderful! You do good work while under the influence (giggle)!! Thanks so much for sharing your design with us in the Tea Room this week :)
ReplyDeleteYou made me smile with your "under the influence" comment, but I'm sorry to hear about your back pain. I've had a lot of that myself, and I know how NOT funny that situation is. Hope you feel better soon, and thanks for sharing this fun card with us in the Tea Room. Think that BG Recess paper is just perfect for a masculine theme, and I like the bits and pieces of goodies you used for embellishment.
ReplyDeleteHehe under the influence! I do hope your back gets better soon though! I think this is a lovely card, very Tim Holtz-y (I make up words when I'm not under the influence hehe!)
ReplyDeleteP.S. If you get a chance, come check out my challenge blog! This week’s challenge runs until Saturday night. I hope to see you there! xo Kelli
