It's About TIME

This is a card I made for great-niece Ashley's high school graduation. About time you say? Traditional high school graduations were MONTHS ago! I know. However, maybe this way she'll still have the $ when she leaves for college in a few weeks. Lame excuse for being tardy with a card - I know! Better late than never? What is really sad is that I have her graduation photo sitting right here on my craft table STARING at me as a reminder to make her a card. I should have just hit the local Hallmark and tossed a store bought card in the mail. I thought this sentiment would be fitting as she is headed off to college.
Oh The Adventures You Will Have
~Base card Stampin' Up Cranberry Crisp
~Layer of Stampin' Up design paper (don't know the collection it is from)
~Vertical layers of Stampin' Up cardstocks - with Martha Stewart edge punch and white floral fabric trim
~Sentiment is a sticker from a scrapbook kit - Imagine That Travel, attached to a light green Stampin' Up piece of cardstock and attached to the card using foam dimensionals
Challenge
Get Sketchy - layout
All good wishes,
Nancy

  1. better late than never, FOR SURE, imo! there is *NO* statute of limitations on paper-crafting!!! :) heck, LOTS of ppl sent her grad cards...but how many sent her "off to college" cards? (which, she's probably a bit more nervous about, actually!)

plus...i have NEVER received a hand-made card that i didn't ♥LOVE♥ no matter what it was for, or when it came, have you?! tell me you would not be THRILLED to find this in your mailbox--i surely would be happy...and so will ashley!
