Confessions of a Card Cheat

Sooo....this happened. My dear "across the pond" blog friend Julie tagged me in her "Blog Hop with a Difference" post! Now the pressure is on to tag someone else! YIKES! Is this blog-land's equivalency of a chain-letter? Who cares? It was fun to read up on Julie and her 'taggees'! Now to write something up by Monday.

And....this happened.... A card of mine, Confetti Wedding, was selected as a winner over at A  Girl Who Crafts Challenge! Fun stuff!!! I was officially given notice to watch for "blog candy" to arrive in my mailbox! REAL mail! How exciting!

Kind of a simple card today. I had an awesome shopping spree at Michael's courtesy of a gift card! I'll tell you more about that at  later post. I'm sure you can hardly wait! I used an awesome epoxy brad on the tag. SOMEWHERE I have a tutorial for a DYI version...now if I could ONLY remember where I PINNED it!!!

To be perfectly honest - this is not only a simple card...it is kind of a CHEATER! The card was pre-embossed. The tag was pre-made and included the attached ribbon! (Oh how I LOVE dollar bins!) I DID go to all the effort of smudging the edges, and embossing the tag and punching the hole for the brad. And how about that addition of braid!? Phhheewww - I am exhausted! So...does this make me a "card cheat"?
