Tag - I'm It!

I really like tags. I admire creative souls who make so many lovely tags. I've been 'pinning' and 'pinning' to my Pinterest tags board like CRAZY hoping to get the hang of it (no pun intended)! At first I hesitated because I'm not sure what one does with a tag... I decided I needed some tag envelopes. I ordered 3 1/8" by 5 1/2" 'coin envelopes'. Of course I don't think these can be placed in the mail because of their size. I guess the 'coin envelope' could be placed in a "regular" envelope for mailing. I've not seen the back of a tag so I decided I would make it available for a sentiment or message. Again...what does one do with tags!?

I used heavy cardboard and cut a tag shape since I wasn't smart enough to order actual manila tags - I was too worried about the goofy envelopes! But I really like the rigidity of the heavy cardboard (used the back of a legal pad).

So....if you have any insights on tags - I'll "hang" on your every word!
