Take THAT Wood Block!

Ever have one of those card issues - where no matter WHAT you try - the results you have in your head - don't match up with the results sitting before you? Well this stamp that sister Gail bought me just about kicked my arse!

I ended up tossing two attempts in the trash - then decided - "No!" I will not let a piece of man-made rubber and a chunk of wood get the better of me. Instead of giving up I made the same card three times. I'm still not getting the results that I have in my head...but I'm workin' on it! It is difficult (for me) because of the wood sled against the wood fence. And I can't stop myself from making the fence too dark...I keep laying down color - then more color - then more.....

  1. LOL! I thought I was the only one that had problems like this!! I'm really not seeing any type of problem with your cards.....think all are great and good job on the coloring on the fence in all three. I like the way you colored it (and of course the entire card) on that second card! Looks really rustic on that one. All are just wonderful though.

  3. Well, I personally think you pulled it off with all three. And, yes it does look like a difficult stamp. I had the same dilemma with a door stamp. Hope you have a wonderful New Year!
