Crazy for Cupcakes

Crazy, high energy day today! The students are back on campus and ready (okay - some of them are ready) for the final semester of the year. I didn't get any work done because of the giggling, hugging, retelling of 'what I did on winter vacation' stories, and general chaos. They were so happy to see each other - it was very uplifting.

I got the Taylored Expressions Build a Treat stamp set and coordinating die cuts for Christmas from daugher Amy! I just love TE stamp sets with coordinating dies! Here they are put to use:

Hey Cupcake!
~Base card Stampin' Up Old Olive
~Layer of DCWV Indian Summer design paper
~Cupcake stamp by Taylored Expressions, cup colored with Prismacolors, top of cupcake paper pieced using DCWV Indian Summer design paper
~Cupcake layer on scalloped die cut circle dotted with coral color Copic and olive green cardstock
~Rectangle piece of PaperTrey Ink Berry Sorbet, Stampin' Up Old Olive and the same DCWV Indian Summer used on the cupcake top
~Green cardstock die cut using Cuttlebug and Spellbinder Ribbon Banners - shaded with Copic and attached to rectangle using two green brads
~Taylored Expressions Build a Treat sentiment stamped using Stampin' Up Old Olive on white cardstock scallop using Spellbinder's die cut circle
Challenges
